Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balancier Skeleton “Black Ceramic”
In order to enhance its flagship model “Royal Oak” (Royal Oak), Audemars Piguet (Audemars Piguet) launched an all-black ceramic version of the dual-frame balanced version.
The world-renowned Swiss copy watch manufacturer Audemars Piguet continues to innovate and create. Its models cannot have too many changes. Each change is higher and more refined than the next. The Royal Oak double-frame balance wheel is described as a solution to the stability problem by integrating a second hairspring assembly on the same shaft. The new patented “Dualbalance” geometry also involves a highly complex manufacturing process, but the results are unparalleled, which greatly improves accuracy and stability.
In order to make the original model more prestigious, the manufacturer hopes to provide a “black ceramic” version of this model. Therefore, the watch is decorated with a 41mm black ceramic case, also equipped with a sapphire crystal and case back cover, both anti-reflective treatment and screw-in crown.
The hour and minute hands are driven by an internal 3 Hz 3132 self-winding movement, with a hollow dial and a double rose gold balance wheel, which can be seen from both sides of the watch. The luminous rose gold hands and hands, as well as the 22k rose gold oscillating weight and the double penetrating rose gold balance bridge, contrast sharply with the dark synthetic exterior.
The Royal Oak steel bracelet requires 6 hours of processing and inspection time, while the new ceramic bracelet requires 30 hours, which is five times the original. The time necessary to ensure the perfect quality level of each model.
