Exclusive two-axis tourbillon movement
The tourbillon was originally invented as a single-axis rotating frame, used to carry the adjustment mechanism of a mechanical pocket watch to improve timing performance, and Astronomia Tourbillon brought this 224-year-old invention to an amazing level of modern sophistication and complexity.

Astronomia Casino’s dual-axis tourbillon is at the forefront of modern watchmaking. The beautifully decorated frame of the flying tourbillon encapsulates the balance wheel, hairspring, escape wheel and many other vital components. This excellent tourbillon features its hollow frame, which can rotate on two axes at the same time. It is a set of meticulously crafted components. After skilled assembly and fine-tuning, JCAM10 can maintain accurate time in its 60-hour power reserve.

It takes exactly 60 seconds to make one revolution of the first axis, which is a tribute to the traditional single-axis tourbillon. The 10-minute four-arm rotating platform of the astronomical tourbillon makes a second axis of rotation possible. This gives people a bold new view of how the tourbillon works, taking into account cutting-edge ultra-modern technology and timeless watch traditions in the design.

Roulette table animation
There has never been a large complication watch equipped with a spinning roulette, allowing the owner to play their favorite game of chance at any time. Although Astronomia Casino is easy to use and enjoy, the technical solutions that truly make it run seamlessly took more than a year of development time.

The ceramic ball is separated from the movement by a sapphire crystal and can bounce at will without affecting the function of the timepiece.

The Jacob-Cut diamond was originally a larger rough diamond. First, you must find a rough diamond that is large enough. The purity, clarity and color must be the highest quality inside and outside, without any inclusions. If they start to cut the diamond and find inclusions, the entire diamond will be destroyed.

Next, the diamond is machine cut into a round shape, close to the final diamond in size.

Then, the gem cutter shapes the gem by hand, cutting each individual facet (288 pieces). This must be done slowly and carefully, because the stone must be perfectly round and symmetrical. The danger is that the stone will become rectangular instead of round. To be used in the Astronomia series, the Jacob cut diamond must be completely round and weigh exactly the same as the other three satellites (time display, three-axis tourbillon, and magnesium globe).

During this process, if the gem cutter applies a little too much pressure when adding facets, too many diamonds will be cut, and the ball will eventually be smaller than the required diameter. The cutting process requires at least two weeks of concentration and hard work. Review luxury watch

To make the final 1-carat Jacobian cut diamond, there are 288 facets, and more than half of the initial rough diamond will be cut off.

The complexity of hand-cutting 288 facets and ensuring that everything is symmetrical and that the diamond is absolutely round makes the Jacob & Co. diamonds used in the Astronomy series so special.

Casino box
The huge Astronomia Casino box is handcrafted from black lacquered natural wood, with Macassar ebony veneer and shiny gloss. The metal decorations on the five sides are painted with 18K 5N red gold paint, and the hardware is 18K 5N red gold. Made in France, there is a window on the top, showing all the glory of the watch. The frame of Astronomia Casino is made of lacquered wood and is removable.

Astronomia Casino’s case has a diameter of 47 mm and a thickness of 24 mm, located between the highest point of the sapphire crystal on the front of its special dome and the lowest point of the case. The case is crafted in 18K rose gold, surrounded by four sapphire crystal windows, which provide a glimpse of the magnificent dual-axis tourbillon movement and the running roulette.

Astronomia Casino’s time display sub-dial is driven by a very small differential system. When it rotates with the four-arm platform of the movement across the front of Astronomia, it can always remain in the correct 12/6 position. The Roman numerals on the hollow dial are hand-engraved and filled with black lacquer, while the hand-finished hands are presented in gun-blue metal.
