Frank Muller – Vanguard Skeleton

Franck Muller cheap presented a new Vanguard model with a small seconds hand at 6 o’clock, featuring a skeletonized dial.

The Vanguard Skeleton’s skeleton dial is protected by a 44mm x 53.7mm x 12.7mm tonneau-shaped hand-polished stainless steel case and a curved sapphire crystal, allowing the movement to be explored in all its details.

The hand-wound Calibre MVT FM 1740-VS, designed and built in-house, beats at 18,000 vibrations per hour and provides a 7-day power reserve via two barrels.

The black inserts on the sides of the case complement the color of the hand-stitched alligator strap and crown inserts, enhancing the style of the timepiece.

Finishes include hand chamfering on the sides of the main cleats and bridges, micro-blasting and satin finishing on the bridges and main plates, and round brushing on the wheels.

Frank Muller – Vanguard Skeleton Tourbillon and Vanguard Grande Date

Following the Vanguard Gravity with advanced tourbillon presented here in early 2015, Franck Muller is further expanding his Vanguard collection with several new additions. We’re highlighting two models here, both housed in a typical Cintrée Curvex case, measuring 44mm x 53.70mm.

The hand-polished and skeletonized bridges of this new model (reference V 45 T SQT 5NBR) are designed to fully showcase the manufacture movement and highlight its architecture.

The case is available in titanium, carbon steel, stainless steel and gold, with a smooth one-piece strap available in a variety of finishes, including fabric and alligator, with rubber on the inside. The Vanguard Grande Date aesthetic meets the technical attributes in this watch, whose skeletonized dial displays a circular chronograph, a minute counter at 3 o’clock, a seconds counter at 9 o’clock and a large date at 7.30.

At the heart of this watch is an automatic movement that provides a power reserve of 46 hours. Manufactured entirely in-house, all parts of the movement are hand-chamfered, circular-grained and decorated with Côtes de Genève.

The Vanguard Grande Date (reference V 45 CC DT GD SQT 5NBR) is available in titanium, stainless steel, rose gold and carbon fibre, with leather and rubber straps or nylon and rubber straps.
