Legendary
The national colors of racing cars first appeared in the 1910s. To identify the nationality of the participating drivers, each country is assigned a color. The bright red Rosso Corsa for the Italians, British racing green for the UK, off-white for the German “Silver Arrow”, yellow for the Belgian flag, and finally blue for the French Bugattis and Talbots. This provides a valuable explanation behind the historical coloration of various speed machines. The fact that Ferrari is red and Aston Martin is green is no coincidence, but stems from the earliest great races, of which the Mille Miglia was one of the most popular.
