Patek Philippe’s “Rare Handicrafts 2020-2021” exhibition is an ideal occasion to showcase its perfect handicraft and mechanical craftsmanship. Their four new handmade minute repeaters are works of art that perfectly reflect the nearly 200-year tradition of the Swiss brand.

This extraordinary double-sided watch combines rose gold and Grand Feu brown enamel decorations to update the collection. There is a perpetual calendar with retrograde date pointer on the front, and the date, month and leap year are displayed in the window. It also displays the hours and minutes of the mean solar time, as well as the moon phases.

On the back side, you can see the sidereal time, sky map, moon phase and orbit. This watch is highly praised by collectors, combined with an impressive 12 complications, making it Patek Philippe’s second most complicated watch. These include a tourbillon and a minute repeater, which strike the cathedral gong and are powered by a mechanical manual winding movement.

The hand-carved rose gold case has a Grand Flame lining and a brown dial in cloisonne enamel. In fact, the crown, sliders, hour/minute hands and folding clasp are all hand-engraved with volutes and arabesques. The strap is made of hand-stitched alligator leather with square scales and a hand-engraved folding clasp.

Minute repeater with retrograde perpetual calendar, model: 5304/301R-001

This watch reinterprets the complication of Patek Philippe’s first transparent sapphire crystal dial, but now it has launched a new high jewelry rose gold version. The technique of setting gems is set with 80 flawless top Wesselton baguette diamonds on the bezel, lugs and folding clasp.

This self-winding advanced complication watch with minute repeater and retrograde perpetual calendar is equipped with a calendar display system and a sapphire plate on the dial. The windows of the day, month and leap year are also clearly visible, and the date and minute marks are printed in white with golden powder dots.

The “leaf” pattern engraved on the platinum inserts is decorated on the side of the case and echoes the eccentric rose gold mini rotor visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back. The strap is made of hand-stitched, shiny black alligator leather with square scales and is equipped with a diamond-encrusted folding clasp.

This Grand Complication with minute repeater and perpetual calendar shines with superior technology and elegance in the new platinum version, and is equipped with a Grand Feu blue enamel dial with a glossy finish. The “Cathedral” gong of the minute repeater is almost surrounded twice around the movement, and the voice is prominent, deep and deep.

The 42mm white gold case shape is known for the interaction of its curve and concave bezel. The blue enamel dial is perfectly matched with gold Breguet numerals, showing the day of the week, date, month, leap year, 24-hour hands and moon phase display.

This self-winding watch has a shiny dark blue alligator leather strap, decorated with scales, all hand-stitched, and equipped with a folding clasp.

Rare handicrafts ladies minute repeater, No. 7040/250G-001

The series introduced a new model, this new and very delicate white gold model with a slightly larger diameter of 36 mm. This ladies’ minute repeater watch features an 18K gold dial, hand-engraved with a swirl pattern, and then painted with transparent blue enamel.

The bezel uses “Flamme®” technology to set 168 top Wesselton pure diamonds in double rows. This outlines the gold dial with gold printed hour markers. The self-winding movement is famous for the pleasant sound of its two classic gongs. This timepiece is equipped with a hand-stitched sea blue alligator leather strap with square scales and a diamond-encrusted pin buckle.
